"I have been attending Julia’s classes for about 10 years now. When I first went I had little confidence in my core strength caused by a lower back issue and Pilates classes which hadn’t suited me in the past. I have found Julia to be a careful and knowledgeable teacher and I have gained trust in her during the classes. I feel so much more confident and have definitely built up my strength, stamina and flexibility. Her classes are varied and challenging, with a great emphasis on individual needs. As she limits her classes to 6 people only, Julia is able to give a good amount of individual attention on technique as required. I have also enjoyed the class dynamic Julia creates and the online rota which enables me to change to a different class at short notice. I’m so pleased I found her! "

"I started with Julia beginning of 2011 with very limited movement and a lot of pain in my lower back. Now (Oct 2012) I can do spine curls, rolling like a ball and more (!) with the best of them. The benefit of the classes being so small is that Julia watches you VERY closely and corrects your position. The smallest tweak changes the way your body responds to the movement and it's this that has given me such tremendous progress. The classes are fun but you definitely know you've worked because you've been made to do the exercises properly. I've done many different Pilates classes over the years but Julia stands head & shoulders above any other instructor I've had. Can't recommend her highly enough!"
